A public meeting about Yellowstone National Park’s collaborative winter adaptive management program will be held in Bozeman on Friday at the Montana State University Engineering and Physical Sciences Building (Room 126) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The program will evaluate the implementation and environmental impacts of the park's new winter-use management rule.

For people and organizations who cannot attend this initial meeting in-person, the NPS will offer the option to participate remotely. The meeting will include presentations about the park’s scientific monitoring on winter use and offer opportunities for public input.

The NPS requests that all interested parties RSVP to confirm their meeting attendance or remote participation by Wednesday by using the contact information provided below.

For more information about Yellowstone’s Adaptive Management Program, visit the program webpage: http://www.nps.gov/yell/parkmgmt/wuamp.htm. To RSVP for the meeting and to receive login information for remote participation, contact Rebecca Garvoille, Yellowstone’s adaptive management coordinator, at 307-344-2265 or rebecca_garvoille@contractor.nps.gov.
