A single-vehicle rollover Wednesday killed a 22-year-old Great Falls man and sent his 22-year-old male passenger, also from Great Falls, to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash occurred just outside of Great Falls on Fox Farm Road as the two men were headed north in a 2002 Buick LeSabre, according to Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Michael Flood.
The vehicle crossed over the center line and drifted off the other side of the road, where it rolled and the driver was ejected. He was not wearing a seat belt. The passenger of the vehicle, who was wearing his seat belt, was not ejected.
Montana Highway Patrol arrived at 6:39 p.m., about 15 minutes after the call came in.
The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead. The passenger was transported to Benefis hospital.
Flood said speed and alcohol are both factors.
The driver's identity is being withheld pending family notification.
