An adult male grizzly bear was trapped and relocated by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department on Wednesday after it killed cows on a Forest Service grazing allotment north of Pinedale, Wyo.

The bear was relocated to the Mormon Creek drainage, about five miles from the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, within the North Fork of the Shoshone River drainage west of Cody, Wyo. The release site is located in occupied grizzly bear habitat.

To avoid conflicts with bears, homeowners should keep all attractants, such as food items, horse feed and bird seed out of reach of bears.
