Editor's note: The original story has been modified to remove the victim's name. It is the policy of The Billings Gazette not to name victims of sexual assault.

The 11-year-old girl who went missing and was the subject of an Amber Alert earlier Monday evening was found alive, reported the Cody Police Department.

The girl was last seen getting into a newer white Toyota four-door with a white male 55 to 60 years of age. According to the alert, he enticed the girl into his vehicle to look for his dog.

The man is described as around 6 feet tall, about 185 to 200 pounds, with short white hair and a trimmed beard. He was wearing a brown shirt. It is not known what direction the vehicle was traveling.

Cody authorities had no additional information about the disappearance or how the girl was found.
