CASPER, Wyo. —The annual Downtown Casper Christmas Parade starts at 6 p.m. Saturday at the corner of Center and Wolcott. Streets along the parade route will be closed to through traffic from 4 to 8 p.m. for the event, which features a lineup of 46 floats and ends at Center Street and Collins Drive.

Free hot chocolate and cookies donated by local businesses will be served during the parade. Parking in the downtown parking garage is free throughout the holiday season, thanks to the city of Casper, the Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Development Authority.

Parade officials remind parade-goers to use designated trash bins along the parade route, as the Wyoming wind makes parade cleanup a tricky task by dispersing trash across the downtown.
