SHERIDAN, Wyo. — Twenty-one people have been arrested in Sheridan County by authorities who have been investigating several methamphetamine distribution rings in the area.
The arrests this week were the results of a two-year investigation by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency in conjunction with local and state law enforcement.
The investigation identified at least four separate drug trafficking organizations operating in Sheridan and other locations in northeast Wyoming and other states.
Most of the 21 are charged with conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine.
The investigation continues, and additional charges and arrests are expected.
