The Robert and Carol Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center opened this month on the University of Wyoming campus in Laramie, Wyo. Photographs by photographer and UW graduate Joe Riis decorate the common area. The building's 40,000 square feet are distributed over three floors and provide new accommodations for the vertebrate zoology collection, Program in Ecology administrative offices, the Wyoming Natural Diversity Database and three core research facilities -- stable isotope, nucleic acid exploration and the macromolecular core equipment facility.
