JACKSON, Wyo — A national anti-abortion group plans a three-day protest of Wyoming's only abortion clinic.

An organizer for Operation Save America, the Rev. Mark Holick of Wichita, Kan., told the Casper Star-Tribune that the group would hold daily protests at the clinic in Jackson Wednesday through Friday.

Wyoming is one of five states that have only one clinic where abortions are performed. The group wants to make Wyoming the first abortion-free state.

The clinic is run by Dr. Bent Blue. The family practitioner said abortions are a minor part of his practice. He thinks he's being targeted because his opponent in the Teton County coroner's race was anti-abortion and the issue came up during the campaign.

The clinic was bombed in 1995 by an activist who later pleaded guilty to bombing other clinics.
