Park County has received weekly deliveries of H1N1 vaccine and has offered it to residents that qualify according to the priority tiers set up by the CDC and Wyoming State Health Department.

The County Public Health Department has unfilled clinic appointments and leftover vaccine. After Thanksgiving, the H1N1 vaccine will be made available to the general public, ages 25 to 64 years. The priority groups will remain: pregnant women; caretakers of infants less than 6 months old; medical care providers; children from 6 months to 24 years old; patients from 25 to 64 years with underlying medical conditions, including asthma and diabetes.

Anyone within these priority groups will still have priority for the available vaccine, but anyone who is between 25 and 64 may contact Public Health to schedule an appointment for the vaccine on a first-come, first-serve basis.  They may also contact Walgreen’s, Albertsons or Medical Center Pharmacies to check on vaccine availability.

Call the Park County Public Health Department at 307-527-8570 or 307-754-8870 to schedule an appointment.
