POWELL - Ladies and gentlemen, start your chopsticks. The popular chopstick competition at Northwest College is back during the Nov. 18 International Education Week reception.
The reception begins at 4 p.m. in the Trapper Rendezvous Lounge in the DeWitt Student Center on campus. It offers an opportunity to meet NWC's international students and share in their culture with snacks, entertainment and games, including the popular chopstick competition. A parade of nations is among the highlights. New this year is a demonstration by the first-year Kumdo Martial Arts Club on campus.
The event is designed for the whole family, and even the youngest participants can win prizes.
The reception is sponsored by the NWC Multicultural Events Committee in celebration of International Education Week, Nov. 16-20.
