PINEDALE, Wyo. — Voters in Sublette County have narrowly approved expanding the number of county commissioners from three to five.

The change was approved by an unofficial vote of 562 to 531 during a special election Tuesday.

As a result of the passage of the ballot measure, Sublette County will be electing three county commissioners instead of one in the 2012 election.

For the time being, Sublette County will continue to have three county commissioners, but after those elected in the 2012 election are seated, the total will increase to five.
