CHEYENNE, Wyo. - The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees has approved a supplemental budget request.

The trustees held a telephonic conference on Tuesday and agreed the university will ask the Legislature for $3.9 million in operating funds. The money would pay for membership to the Greater Western Library Alliance and buy equipment for the Wyoming State Veterinary Laboratory, which is operated by the university.

The trustees also approved a capital facilities funding request that includes $10 million in bonding for a joint UW-Casper College facility; $2.6 million for improvements to the Fine Arts Center; and $750,000 for planning for joint UW facilities at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne and Sheridan College.
