CHEYENNE, Wyo. - The state parks department says many campgrounds and facilities at Glendo State Park have been closed until further notice because of high water.

The agency says the closed facilities include the Elkhorn campground and boat ramp, Bennett Hill campground and boat ramp and Indian Point campground and boat ramp. The Sandy Beach campground is partially closed.

Campgrounds that are still fully open include Red Hills, Reno Cove, Custer Cove, Whisky Gulch, Shelter Point and Two Moon.

Boat ramps are still open at Reno Cove, Whiskey Gulch and Glendo Marina.

Boaters at Glendo are urged to use caution and to be on the lookout for submerged trees and other debris.

State park officials say it's likely a majority of the park will be closed before the weekend.
