CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The bridge over Interstate 80 at Parlsey Boulevard in Cheyenne is set to reopen.
The Wyoming Department of Transportation says the bridge has been closed since June 9 for repairs including replacement girders.
Trucks hauling oversized loads in the westbound lanes have struck the bridge three times within in the past year, most recently in February.
The transportation department says westbound I-80 motorists will continue to be diverted to the eastbound lane in the work zone for some time. That creates two-way traffic for a short stretch.
