CHEYENNE — Sen. Mike Enzi will keep his same Senate committee assignments.

For the 112th Congress, Enzi will remain on the Senate Finance Committee, which has jurisdiction over such issues as Social Security, health care programs, taxes, energy and transportation.

Former Wyoming Sens. Cliff Hansen, Al Simpson and Craig Thomas all served on the Senate Finance Committee.

Enzi also remains the most senior Republican on the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, which deals with federal education legislation.

And he will remain on the Budget and the Small Business and Entrepreneurship committees.
