CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The final Honor Flight Wyoming will take place next week.
The program takes Wyoming World War II veterans on a free, two day trip to Washington, D.C.
Honor Flight Wyoming is a nonprofit foundation. It has sponsored five previous trips for Wyoming vets to visit the World War II Memorial in the nation's capital.
The final trip will occur next Tuesday and Wednesday. A charter aircraft in Cheyenne will carry more than 160 veterans, guardians, and staff.
The group will return to Cheyenne on Wednesday evening.
