CHEYENNE, Wyo. — All major highways in Wyoming are now open to traffic although some areas continue to see slick roads and blowing snow.
Interstate-80 eastbound between Cheyenne and Nebraska and U.S. 85 between Cheyenne and Torrington reopened Wednesday afternoon after being closed for two days.
Long stretches of interstates 80 and 25 and parts of I-90 had closed at various times during the snowstorm that hit the state this week. But weather conditions improved Wednesday, allowing roads to reopen.
Still, the Wyoming Department of Transportation says many roads remain slick and hazardous. Conditions are continuing to improve west to east as warmer, sunny weather moves in.
