MOUNTAIN VIEW — The Mountain View High School class of 2017 posted a 98.3 percent graduation rate, according to MVHS principal Ben Carr, following the graduation report release by the state.

This graduation rate calculated by the Wyoming Department of Education puts Uinta County School District #4 at the top of the state among districts for the percent of students who graduate within four years. The statewide average graduation rate for all Wyoming high schools in 2017 is 80.2 percent.

The 98.3 percent graduation rate shows a steady three-year increase of graduation rate for MVHS. The graduation rate for Mountain View in 2016 was 89 percent and 87 percent in 2015. In 2014 MVHS posted a 94 percent graduation rate.
