CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead and others from the state celebrated Thanksgiving with more than 160 Wyoming National Guard troops deployed in the Middle East.

Mead's office said Friday that the governor and First Lady Carol Mead met in Bahrain with more than 160 soldiers deployed as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. The soldiers are from the 133rd Engineering Company, based in Laramie.
