The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for fire conditions Friday afternoon and evening from the Ryegate and Fishtail area eastward because of warm, windy and dry conditions.
Temperatures will be in the 70s to lower 80s while southwesterly winds will be up to about 25 mph before increasing up to about 35 mph from the northwest. Gusts up to about 55 mph could occur with a strong cold in the afternoon and evening.
Skies will be mostly sunny in the Billings area on Friday while the high will be about 72 degrees. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible with increasing clouds in the afternoon. The low will be about 39 degrees with mostly cloudy skies.
Saturday will be sunny with a high of about 58 degrees with westerly winds up to about 24 mph. The low will be about 41 degrees with mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance for showers.
Skies will be mostly cloudy on Sunday while the high will be about 69 degrees. Westerly winds will be up to about 29 mph in the afternoon while gusts could reach 40 mph. The low will be about 46 with a slight chance for showers.
