As a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), I have been blessed to work with a number of people in our community who are dedicating their lives to the protection and well-being of our most vulnerable populations. Two of these growing populations in Billings are our children in foster care and our elderly residents who rely on Social Security. Currently, 26.9 percent of the children in foster care in Montana live in Yellowstone County. On average, in Yellowstone County, two children a day are removed from their homes and placed into foster care. As a CASA, I see many grandparents or aging relatives working to care for these children, and many of these aging people are relying on Social Security to do so.

Ben McKee, legislative candidate for House District 54, and Amelia Marquez, legislative candidate for House District 52, are two of the people in our community who work tirelessly to help protect and improve the lives of our most vulnerable populations. I am honored to know them both and I greatly respect the integrity, professionalism, and work ethic in which they both individually operate. Billings and Yellowstone County need the strength, intelligence, and creative problem solving skills of McKee and Marquez representing our community in Helena. Please vote for McKee for HD 54 and Marquez for HD 52.
