About Children's Resource Center
In 1972, a group of concerned parents of children with disabilities organized Northwest Child Development Center presently know as Children's Resource Center. In 1978, the Wyoming Legislature allocated funding through the Department of Health to provide special education and related services to children with disabilities between the ages of birth through five. At the present time, there are 42 Developmental Preschool Programs delivering special services through the state of Wyoming. Children's Resource Center is Region 1 of the Wyoming Developmental Preschool Program. CRC covers four counties, Big Horn, Washakie, Hot Springs, and Park. Six program sites are in operation in Lovell, Powell, Cody, Basin, Worland, and Thermopolis.
