THE BASICS OF MONTANA'S LAW
Depending on the job, the law protects patients from being fired for using medical marijuana (excludes: DOT and FAA).
Patients can register with the state health department by calling 406-444-0596 or by going online. This allows patients the legal right to process and use cannabis as medicine. The law permits having 4 plants, 12 seedlings and 1 ounce of dried cannabis per person.
Registration requires a signed recommendation from a licensed physician in the state of Montana. Possibly you may need two doctor signatures for chronic pain without an MRI. Registration is confidential and protected health information. Registered patients can have on registered provider/caregiver.
