Kevin Franklin doubled home Shedric Long with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning on Sunday afternoon, and the Billings Mustangs ended a two-game skid with a 4-3 Pioneer League victory over the Helena Brewers in front of 2,523 at Dehler Park.
The downpour began around 3:30 p.m. Monday afternoon, drenching Dehler Park without apology, seeming not the least bit interested in the Mustangs and the hoopla surrounding opening night.
