Opera singer Michelle Berger is seeking to add more dimension to her role as Carmen in the NOVA Center production of the Georges Bizet work.
“Carmen’s Tragedy,” featuring mezzo-soprano Michelle Berger and tenor Jeff Kitto, will be an intimate production with spare accompaniment and perhaps some audience interaction.
In addition to directing the upcoming production of “Carmen’s Tragedy” at the NOVA Center for the Performing Arts, Jeff Kitto is singing the role of the fiery Don Jose opposite Michelle Berger’s Carmen.
In his directorial debut, Bozeman tenor Jeff Kitto takes on some of the world’s most familiar music in Georges Bizet’s “Carmen’s Tragedy.”
