Plans, two years in the making, came to fruition in October 2011 when Montana became the 33rd state in the nation to activate a chapter of the Honor Flight Network to pay homage to the state’s World War II veterans.
A special fundraising barbecue to benefit Big Sky Honor Flight will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Lithia Dodge-Billings lot on King Avenue.
