Basketball

Rimrock Girls Camp

The Rimrock girls basketball camp is set for June 22-25 at Billings West. Girls in grades 2-7 will go from 9 a.m-noon and grades 8-12 are 2-5 p.m. The cost is $75. A shooting camp will also be offered from 6-8 p.m. (June 22-24) for grades 7-12. The cost is $35. For information, contact West girls basketball coach Randy Chase at 690-0634.

Heights Youth Basketball Camp

The Heights Youth Basketball Camp is June 29-July 2. The camp is open to boys in grades one through 12.

The camp will be broken into three time periods. Grades 1-4 go from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., grades 5-8 from noon until 3 p.m. and high school goes from 4-8 p.m.

The cost is $50 for pre-registration ($60 at the door) for grades 1-4, $75 pre or $85 at the door for grades 5-8, and for high school is $85 pre or $100 at the door.

Skyview boys basketball coach Toby Hill is the camp director. Several area college coaches, including Rocky's Bill Dreikosen and Chris Mouat of the MSU-Northern women's team, will speak at the high school camp.

Bret Metcalf scored a hole-in-one on the 135-yard No. 5 hole on the Elmer Link Course at Pryor Creek. His 8-iron shot was witnessed by Gary Meyers and Roy Millhouse.

Ken Hagen recorded a hole-in-one Saturday at Lake Hills. Hagen used a 7-iron on the 142-yard seventh hole. The shot was witnessed by Jeff Allen and John Langeliers.

Wrestling

Heights Wrestling Camp

The 2009 Heights Wrestling Camp is June 22-24 at Billings Skyview in the lower gym.

The camp begins at 9 a.m. and runs until noon, gives a hour lunch break and resumes from 1-3 p.m. Those ages 8-18 are eligible. The cost is $75 and a T-shirt is included.

Wrestlers may bring a sack lunch or visit a local restaurant. Wrestlers should bring shorts, shoes and workout gear.

The featured clinician will be B.J. Padden, a two-time All-American wrestler for Nebraska. Padden is currently working out at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The camp director is Skyview coach Rich Malia, who has been with the program for all six of its state AA championships. Ty Malia, a two-time state champion at Skyview and former Iowa State and Nebraska wrestler, will also be a clinician.

Montana AAU Track Meet

HARDIN - The postponed Montana AAU track meet has been rescheduled for Tuesday, June 16 at the Hardin High School football field. Check in time is 8 a.m.

The original date was June 6 in Hardin.

Field events begin at 9 a.m. with running events to follow at 10:30 a.m. Kids who played football last fall, played soccer or volleyball, or wrestled this year have current 2009 AAU cards.

Anyone not registered for AAU already must purchase a card online before coming to the meet at www.aausports.org. A meet flyer is also available on site under "Find an Event."
