The Billings Royals remained unbeaten at the Blue Rock Distributing/Pepsi Wood Bat Tournament with a 2-0 win over Post 320 of Rapid City on Friday in Miles City.
Royals starter Mike Sulser hurled a two-hit shutout, striking out nine while walking three. Sulser threw 90 pitches, 53 of which were strikes, in recording the third straight tournament shutout for the Royals.
Billings scored its two runs in the bottom of the second inning. Blake Loran and Tony LaGaly each collected two hits. LaGaly had the team's lone RBI. Saturday, July 4 at 2 p.m.
