LEWISTOWN – It comes down to one game for the Class A American Legion Baseball state championship.

With Belgrade’s 8-7 win over Laurel, three teams remain with one loss.

The Bandits will play the Glacier Twins at 1 p.m. on Saturday, followed by the winner taking on Laurel for the state title.

Glacier stayed alive with an 11-9 win over Mission Valley.

Belgrade used a 5-0 first inning and added three more in the third to hang on for the win.

The Dodgers (48-16) chipped away with two runs in the third, a run in the fifth and three more in the seventh.

Laurel-out-hit Belgrade 14-8 but had five errors compared to four for the Bandits.

Trevor Mahn paced Belgrade with a home run and three RBIs. Teammate Josh Browning also had two hits.

Christian Schreckengost went all nine innings for Belgrade to earn the win. He struck out seven and walked two. Laurel used four different pitchers.

Jake Anderson had two RBIs and two hits for Laurel. Karson Kukes had three hits, while Trevor Meier, Bryson McGann and Dawson Cortese had two each.
