RAPID CITY, S.D. -- For the second straight day, the Billings Royals and Rapid City Post 22 split a American Legion baseball doubleheader on Sunday.

Tanner Leenknecht drove in five runs as the Royals walloped the home team 12-2. Leenknecht hit a three-run homer in the sixth inning. 

Post 22 also broke out the bats, slapping 12 hits, in a 14-4 victory.

The Royals are now 2-2 on the season.

Matt Dillon doubled twice and scored three runs in the Royals' win. Cody Frenk pitched four innings of three hit relief for the Royals.

Ryan Walla showed some power, hitting a solo homer for the Royals in their setback. John Vogel drove in two in that contest.
