OGDEN, Utah -- The Billings Mustangs tied their season high of three straight wins on Sunday with a 9-1 pounding of the Ogden Raptors in Pioneer League baseball.

Adam Matthews was 4 for 4 with two doubles, a triple and two RBIs to lead Billings. Matthews also had two hits and four RBIs -- which came on a grand slam -- in Saturday’s 10-2 Mustangs win.

Jose Ortiz added three hits for Billings and Avain Rachal and Taylor Terrasas had two hits apiece.

Mustangs starter Ben Lively was dominant, working three perfect innings and striking out five to lower his season ERA to 0.79. Lively has now retired 23 consecutive batters over his last three starts.

Daniel Wright (2-2) got the win by working four innings in relief, allowing one run on five hits.

Billings is now 22-35 overall this season and 8-11 in the second half.

The Mustangs wrap up their seven-game road trip Monday at Ogden. After an off day Tuesday, the Mustangs return home to begin a seven-game homestand on Wednesday vs. Idaho Falls.
