OREM, Utah -- The Billings Mustangs slammed four home runs en route to a 10-2 victory over the Orem Owlz in Pioneer League baseball action Sunday.

Aristides Aquino, Alex Greer, Cory Thompson and Josciel Veras all hit round-trippers for the Northern Division-leading Ponies (13-8 record in second half of the season). It was the 14th homer of the season for Aquino, who blasted a two-run homer in the ninth. Greer and Thompson hit back-to-back homers to left field with two outs in the sixth. Veras' shot was a two-run homer in the eighth that also came with two outs.

It was the third straight win for the Mustangs.

Billings roughed up four Owlz pitchers to the tune of 15 hits and 10 earned runs.

The Ponies and Owlz (8-12) wrap up their four-game series with a contest Monday starting at 7:05 p.m.
