Billings Mustangs starting pitcher Tyler Mahle has been selected the Pioneer League’s pitcher of the week.

In his start Friday against Missoula, Mahle shut out the Osprey on two hits, 5-0, in the first game of a doubleheader. He struck out seven and walked two in the seven-inning complete game.

It was the second complete game of the season for Mahle. He blanked the Ogden Raptors on three hits in a nine-inning game on July 13.

Overall, Mahle is 4-4 with a 4.43 ERA in 65 innings.
