GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -- The Grand Junction Rockies can hit with or without Michael Cuddyer.

The Rockies scored 10 runs after the fifth inning Tuesday night and went on to defeat the Mustangs 13-5 at Suplizio Field. Dom Nunez went 3 for 4 and drove in five runs, four of which came on two-run singles in both the sixth and the seventh.

Grand Junction finished with 13 hits and took advantage of four Mustangs errors. Hamlet Marte had three hits and scored two runs. Mustangs pitcher Soid Marquez (6-2) took the loss after coming on in relief of starter Tejay Antone in the sixth.

Taylor Sparks hit his seventh home run in the fifth inning to tie the game 3-3, and the Mustangs took the lead in the top half of the sixth on Jimmy Pickens' sacrifice fly.

Cuddyer, a Colorado Rockies outfielder, finished a Pioneer League rehab stint with Grand Junction on Sunday before joining Double-A Tulsa of the Texas League on Tuesday. In five games with Grand Junction, Cuddyer hit .579 (11 for 19) with six extra-base hits and nine RBIs.

The Mustangs and Rockies continue their four-game series Wednesday night at Suplizio Field.
