GREAT FALLS -- The Great Falls Voyagers scored two runs with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning to defeat the Billings Mustangs 4-3 in Pioneer League baseball at Centene Stadium Monday.

Wagner Gomez entered in relief in the ninth for the Ponies and quickly got two outs. However, Jake Peter drew a walk and three consecutive singles by John Ziznewski, Zach Fish and Zach Fisher produced two runs and a Great Falls' victory.

The Voyagers are now 5-3, while the Mustangs are 4-3.

Billings went ahead 3-2 in the top of the eighth on a two-run homer to left by Cory Thompson. It was his first homer of the year and followed a double by Ty Washington.

The two teams will play again Tuesday in Great Falls at 7 p.m. to conclude a four-game series.
