The Billings Jr. Bulls high school hockey team remained undefeated in MAHA league play after winning a pair of games against the Missoula Jr. Bruins over the weekend.
The Jr. Bulls won the first contest 3-0. Dayton Smith earned the first point of the game on a power-play goal. Seth Hamilton and Simon Minch also scored. Jon Hertz and Duke Cherpeski each added two assists. Cole Curry recorded a shutout. The Bulls won the second game 3-2. Billings’ three goals all came in the second period with two goals on power plays. Missoula made a run late in the third period with a 5 on 3 power-play goal and then in the last minute of the game when the Jr. Bruins pulled the goalie to score on a 6 on 5 advantage. Coley Anderson, Seth Hamilton and Brandon Dringman each contributed a goal to the win. Dylan Chirrick, Dawson Smith, Dayton Smith, Hamilton and Anderson each added an assist. Reigan Picicci finished the game with 14 saves.
