Jessica Sharbono won’t be alone when competing at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend in Eugene, Ore.

Other local competitors include Billings Senior graduate Alexa Aragon of Notre Dame and Montana State decathlete Jeff Mohl of Red Lodge.

Aragon will be chasing All-America honors for a second straight year in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, where she is seeded 10th. She placed eighth last year. The Big East champion overcame an early fall to finish 10th at the NCAA preliminary meet in Jacksonville, Fla.

Mohl is also a two-time qualifier, competing in 2012 when he finished 17th overall. He missed the 2013 outdoor season and is seeded 23rd for this year's championships.

The multi-event athlete is the reigning Big Sky Conference decathlon champion and earned second-team All-America honors in 2013 at the NCAA Indoor Championships.

Both Aragon and Mohl are seniors.
