LARAMIE, Wyo. — The Wyoming men's basketball team will compete in a tournament next season that will include a trip to Cancun, Mexico.

Coach Heath Schroyer says the Cancun Challenge is set for Nov. 23-24.

The eight-team tournament field is still being finalized but so far Missouri, Providence, LaSalle, North Florida and Morgan State are currently scheduled to compete with the Cowboys.

The tournament will feature two divisions with Wyoming, Missouri, Providence and LaSalle in one division.

All eight teams playing in the challenge will play a pair of games on campus sites before traveling to Cancun. The Cowboys will play two games in Laramie. Dates and times of those games, as well as the entire 2010 Cowboy basketball schedule, will be announced at a later date.
