GREAT FALLS - University of Great Falls cross-country and track-and-field coach Jim Brewer has announced the signing of Christina Bruce to a letter of intent for the 2009-10 season.

Bruce competed at Sequim High School in Sequim, Wash. She was a state championship qualifier for all four years of high school and was named All-Peninsula Female Runner of the Year.

During her senior year, Christina helped the Wolves finish fourth overall at the state cross-country championship.

She has also competed in nine marathons including a fifth place overall at the 2009 Yakima River Canyon Marathon.

She finished her high school career with a 3.30 GPA and plans to major in psychology and health and human performance at the University of Great Falls.
