BOZEMAN -- New Montana State men’s basketball coach Brian Fish has made his first additions to the roster, landing a pair of high school players out of Arizona.

Quinn Price, a 6-foot-9, 205-pound forward from Casa Grande, Arizona, and Zach Green, a 6-4, 195-pound guard from Gilbert, Arizona, signed letters of intent to join the Bobcats and will enter MSU as freshmen in the fall.

Price missed most of his senior season at Vista Grande High School with a finger injury, but still averaged 15 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots. As a junior he averaged 15.3 points, 9.9 rebounds, 4.1 blocked shots, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

Green missed his senior season with after an injury suffered in the season opener. He averaged 17.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists and steals per game as a junior.

“Zach and Quinn know each other well and have played with each other,” Fish said. “I think it’s coincidental they’re coming here together, but they’re friends so I think they’re both excited to play on the same team. We’ll look to build on the relationship because that’s a talent-rich area.”
