BOZEMAN — Peyton Ferris and Riley Nordgaard each posted double-doubles as Montana State closed out the regular season with a 72-53 win over Weber State Friday night in Big Sky Conference women's basketball.
The Bobcats (22-6, 15-3) clinched a share of the regular-season title with North Dakota and earned the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Big Sky tournament, which begins Monday in Reno, Nevada.
It is MSU's second straight regular-season crown. The Bobcats will play a Big Sky quarterfinal game on Wednesday in Reno.
The Bobcats' 25-game home win streak is tied with Bucknell for third-longest in the nation. MSU finished unbeaten at home this year, a first in program history. The Bobcats also tied a program record for wins in a season (22) and set a record for most Big Sky wins (15) in a season.
Ferris finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Nordgaard had 10 points and 12 rebounds for MSU. Oliana Squires added 13 points for the Bobcats, while Delany Junkermier had 11.
