BOZEMAN -- Montana State University track and field coach Dale Kennedy has announced the signing of six student-athletes, including Brenna Cockburn of Billings Senior.

Cockburn is a four-year varsity runner in both cross country and track for the Broncs. She was voted the team's Outstanding Runner last fall in cross country.

Joining Cockburn in signing with the Bobcats are distance runners Taylor Floming of Superior, Colo., and Jeannette Northey of Anchorage, Alaska; jumpers Leah Cook of Whitefish and Jessica Chrisp of Deer Park, Wash.; and thrower Riley Sampson of Polson.

“There is a lot of talent in this particular group,” said Kennedy. “It should also be noted that this group of six also brings some serious academic focus with them, as well. They are true student-athletes and will represent Montana State very well.”
