Montana State football coach Rob Ash will be the special guest at the monthly gathering of the Midland Roundtable on Thursday at noon at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center.

A buffet-style lunch will be served for $10. Those interested in hearing Ash talk about his expectations for next year's Bobcats are encouraged to attend.

Ash will be entering his eighth season with the Bobcats when they begin the season at non-league foe Arkansas State on Aug. 30. The Bobcats play in the Big Sky Conference of the Football Championship Subdivision and finished 7-5 a year ago. Overall, Ash's MSU teams are 57-27. From 2010-12, the Bobcats won three shares of the Big Sky Conference title.

Another highlight of Thursday's luncheon is the announcement of the Montana boys and girls rosters for the annual Midland Roundtable Montana-Wyoming All-Star basketball series in June.
