BOZEMAN -- Montana State announced start times on Wednesday for 10 of its 12 football games, a list that includes an evening kickoff for its home opener on Sept. 6.

The Bobcats play their first home game -- the annual “Gold Rush” game -- against Division II Black Hills State at Bobcat Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:05 p.m. It will be broadcast by Cowles Media stations (formerly Max Media) statewide.

MSU’s season-opener at FBS Arkansas State on Aug. 30 will kick off at 5 p.m. Mountain time, and will be available for viewing on ESPN3.

After hosting Black Hills State, MSU welcomes Central Arkansas and Eastern Washington to Bobcat Stadium the following two weeks. Those games will start at 3:35 and 1:10 p.m., respectively. The homecoming game against North Dakota on Sept. 27 will kick off at 2:05.

MSU’s road game at Sacramento State on Oct. 4 is set for 7:05 p.m. Mountain time. The following week’s game, Oct. 11 at UC Davis, will start at 5:10 Mountain.

The Bobcats return home for an Oct. 18 game versus Weber State, which is slated for 3:35. A game at Cal Poly on Nov. 1 at 7:05 (Mountain) precedes a 2:05 kickoff at home against Portland State on Nov. 8.

Start times for MSU’s final two games -- at home against Idaho State on Nov. 15 and on the road at Montana for the 114th Cat-Griz Game on Nov. 22 -- have yet to be announced.
