SEATTLE — ROOT Sports released its television schedule for the 2014 Big Sky Conference football season on Tuesday.

The network will televise 11 games, opening with Eastern Washington’s visit to Montana State for a non-conference tilt on Sept. 20, and ending when MSU travels to rival Montana for the 114th Cat-Griz Game on Nov. 22.

Montana and Montana State will each play on ROOT four times. The Grizzlies’ other appearances are Sept. 27 at home against Northern Colorado, Nov. 1 at home against Sacramento State, and Nov. 8 on the road at Eastern Washington. The Bobcats will also appear Oct. 11 on the road at UC Davis and at home on Nov. 15 against Idaho State.

ROOT will also televise UC Davis at Portland State on Oct. 4, Northern Arizona at Portland State on Oct. 18, Eastern Washington at Northern Arizona on Oct. 25, and Eastern Washington at Portland State from Providence Park in Portland, Ore., on Friday, Nov. 21.

Each game will be produced and televised in high-definition, with many of them available in both the Northwest and Rocky Mountain regions. The 2014 season marks the third year of the TV partnership between the Big Sky Conference and ROOT Sports, which is operated by DirecTV.
