LONG BEACH, Calif. — Montana State senior Hannah Caudill tied her career-high with 24 points to lead the Bobcats over Long Beach State 62-51 in women's basketball on Sunday.

Caudill was 6 of 10 from beyond the 3-point arc.

Madeline Smith reached double-figures in scoring for the second straight contest with 11 points. Smith also hauled down six rebounds and stole the ball twice. The Bobcats' Blaire Braxton had a game-high 10 boards. Braxton dished out a career-high five assists.

MSU (1-1) will host the University of Providence on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
