EUGENE, Ore. -- Montana State's Jeff Mohl wound up 11th on Thursday at the conclusion of the two-day men's decathlon at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships being held at Hayward Field on the University of Oregon campus.

The senior from Red Lodge finished with a season-best 7,533 points and earned second-team All-America recognition.

Mohl started the final day in 10th place.

Maicel Uibo, a sophomore from Georgia, won the decathlon with 8,182 points.

Former Billings West athlete Jessica Sharbono, competing for Colorado State, placed 14th in the preliminaries for the discus at 169-6 on Thursday and didn't advance to the finals. The senior earned second-team All-America status.

Montana's Lindsey Hall is sitting 10th with 3,317 points after the first four events of the women's heptathlon, while Montana State's Carley McCutchen is 18th at 3,175.

Georgia's Kendell Williams is leading with 3,685 points.

Ex-Billings Senior star Alexa Aragon, running for Notre Dame, will be racing Friday night in the finals of the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Aragon placed fifth in her heat on Wednesday with a clocking of 9:59.67.
