MEDICINE HAT, Alberta, Canada -- Former Montana State University standout Kim Stonehouse is the new volleyball coach for Medicine Hat College.

Stonehouse, a Medicine Hat native, spent last season as an assistant coach with Simon Fraser of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

Stonehouse was a three-time all-Big Sky Conference selection for the Bobcats during her playing career (2003-06) and still ranks seventh for career kills and fifth for total attacks.

Prior to SFU, she was a high school coach for both boys and girls volleyball in Calgary. She also spent six years helping at the University of Montana volleyball camps.
