GREELEY, Colo. — Tevin Svihovec scored 21 points and Northern Colorado outlasted Montana 89-86 in overtime Thursday night.

Jordan Wilson made a pair of free throws with 10 seconds remaining in overtime, and Jordan Gregory's 3-point attempt at the buzzer was off as Northern Colorado (14-8, 8-5 Big Sky) held on.

The Bears led by four in overtime before Gregory hit a 3 to cut the lead to 85-84. But Northern Colorado responded as Tate Unruh assisted Derrick Barden on a dunk to extend the lead.

Keron DeShields made two free throws for Montana (12-10, 7-6) with 14 seconds left before the Grizzlies fouled Wilson.

Kareem Jamar missed a potential game-winning 3 at the end of regulation after Montana had erased an 11-point deficit in the second half.

Barden scored 17 points while Tim Huskisson had 12 and Wilson 11.

Jamar led Montana with 21 points. DeShields added 20 and Gregory had 14.
