Jordan Sullivan, a former Sidney and University of Montana standout, is close to signing a deal to play professional women's basketball in Denmark.

According to gogriz. com, the official site of Montana athletics, Sullivan will play for Stevnsgade, a Copenhagen club team that plays in the seven-team Dameligaen league.

Sullivan's contract would run from August to May for a season that runs from September to April, the website reported.

"This is something I really wanted to do, and I'm looking forward to everything that comes with it," Sullivan told gogriz.com. "I don't know what it's going to be like to be that far away and not really know anybody, so I'll have to wait and see how it goes."

Sullivan closed out her four-year Lady Griz career this past season, averaging 11.6 points and a team-high 7.8 rebounds per game.
